Clean Water - Indonesia Quake

Our friends from ITB (Institute Technology of Bandung) sent Mobile WTP (Water Treatment Plant, micro hydraulic technology) to Bantul, Yogyakarta, 28 May 2006. Now, producing 15,000 liters/hour helping 2,000 quake`s victims. If you want to support us, please donate US$ 200/day for operating cost to Mr. Rusnandi Garsadi, LAPI Indowater ITB. YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS SCHEME


Australian Business Volunteers
in association with AusAID

is offering a training program for young business entrepreneurs in Bandung involving a 4 day course combined with a number of individual coaching sessions over a 3 week period


27 – 30 June 2006


The Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (YES) is designed to provide individuals with an opportunity to gain the essential knowledge and skills needed to be successful in business. The program is specifically for those who own or manage a small business, or who have taken positive steps to establish one.

The 4 day course will cover the essentials of business planning, financial requirements, marketing and human resource management.

The individual coaching sessions, run over 3 weeks, will assist course graduates to implement the specific skills that their business requires. This may include developing a business plan, establishing a sound accounting system, or some aspects of marketing or resource management.



Selection for attendance will be on the basis of an application and discussions with the Australian Business Volunteers representative.

Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) – Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB): CLEAN WATER



Wednesday, 10 May 2006, Prof. F.A. Moeloek (IDI) and Dr. Indratmo Soekarno (ITB) signed agreement to help people for accessing clean water through micro-hydraulic water treatment plant invented by ITB.

Only 40% of urban people and 9% in rural area access to clean water in this year, 2006 in Indonesia.

IDI and ITB planned to donate 1 (one) unit for Jakarta`s people lives in Ciliwung River`s bank (slum area).

ONS Foundation, Holland has donated 1 (one) unit to Permata Hati Hospital, Banda Aceh.
