Ternyata gerakan koperasi di kalangan dokter di Inggris pun sudah berjalan, dokter berkumpul dalam satu gerakan koperasi untuk mengkoordinasi antar dirinya dalam gerakan koperasi yang demokratis. Apakah ini dampak "the third way" yang jadi kebijakan Tony Blair dulu (yang menyatakan dirinya 'soft left')? Untuk kita di Indonesia, kita berdamai saja, majemuk, sokogurunya: kapitalis, sosialis, koperasi dalam harmoni. Bhineka Tunggal Ika.

SELDOC has purposely accumulated little in the way of assets and in keeping with the ethics of being not for profit; any surplus is put back within the co-operative to support new co-operative businesses. In line with the UK Company Law an independent audit of accounts is carried out annually and a copy of accounts is lodged with Companies House.
SELDOC remains a disciplined democratic organization with the constitution designed to encourage the involvement of its members. We consult our member via "GP Consultation Meetings" every quarter and our Annual General Meeting.
SELDOC has 460 GP members from over 125 practices, covering a patient population of around 900,000 people across three South East London boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham and deals with around 59,622 calls per annum.
